ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Unbeaten Henderson State vaulted up the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division II Top-25 Poll for the second straight week on Tuesday afternoon when the Reddies jumped eight spots to No. 10 nationally.
The Reddies (11-0) are coming off of another big week which saw them take down Mississippi College in a road midweek contest and then sweep perennial GAC contender Oklahoma Baptist in a three-game series in Arkadelphia. HSU is off to its best start in program history and is now ranked inside the NCBWA Top-10 for the first time since Feb. 5, 2015.
Henderson is the only NCAA DII team in the country with at least 11 wins that remains undefeated on the season. The Reddies put that 11-0 record on the line this weekend when they travel to Bethany, Oklahoma for a three-game set against Southern Nazarene on Saturday and Sunday.
