Montgomery County doubles COVID-19 totals in one day

Montgomery County is currently reporting two active positive cases of COVID-19. The last active case prior to these was reported June 2.
The newest cases brings the county total to four cumulative cases with two recoveries reported. There are 332 negative test results reported for a total positivity rate of 1.2 percent for the county.
Statewide as of Friday morning, Arkansas is reporting 5,695 total cases and 18,062 cumulative positive cases. There have been 12,127 recovered from COVID-19 and 240 deaths reported.
Numbers of active cases in neighboring Hot Spring County are a cause for concern with numbers of active cases rising to 355 as of Friday morning. They are reporting 396 cumulative cases and no COVID-19 related deaths being reported. There are 2,968 negative test results being reported.
Yell County sits at 167 active cases and 479 cumulative. They are reporting 1,533 negative test results with three COVID-19 related deaths being reported.
Garland County is reporting 41 active cases of COVID-19 with one virus related death being reported. They have 205 cumulative cases and 5,778 negative test results.
Howard County is reporting 26 active cases with 47 recovered and 1,011 negative test results.
Polk County is reporting 26 active cases with 55 recovered and 1,269 negative test results.
Clark County is reporting 3 active cases with 47 recovered and 1,766 negative test results.
Scott County is reporting 3 active cases with 5 recovered and 436 negative test results.
Pike County is reporting 2 active cases with 6 recovered and 1,487 negative test results.
