MCAL celebrates assisted living week

Echo Donahou
Montgomery County Assisted Living celebrated National Assisted Living week. This is a week full of new meals, fun events & activities.
Monday was Pajama Day, Tuesday was Tye Dye Day, next was our Wacky Wednesday, Thursday was Patriotic Day with a visit to The Father’s Field Pumpkin Patch followed by a meal out at the Bamboo Palace. We closed out the week on Friday with outdoor games & a Luau for lunch.
We want to thank the following people for making this week special; Barbara Hold & Patti Presley for their time & talents. Elite Home Health for providing Thursday’s staff with a Subway lunch platter. Bamboo Palace for providing gift certificates for prizes.
A special thank you to the Montgomery County Auxillary for purchasing all the staff tee shirts in recognition of the hard work and dedication they have shown the residents over the last year. It has been a long year for everyone enduring the global pandemic. We hope down the road we can look back & say …remember when, but until then we wish only the best for everyone!
