Mayberry announces bid for Mount Ida School Board Position 3

Shelly Mayberry has announced her candidacy for Mount Ida School Board Position #3. Her announcement is printed below.

Shelly Mayberry

I am Shelly Mayberry, a candidate for Mount Ida School Board Position #3. I am married to Billy Mayberry and we are both graduates of Mount Ida High School. I have lived in Montgomery County for 29 years, most of which have been in the town of Story. My husband and I have five children together in our blended family and all of them have attended Mount Ida School since preschool. After this current year we will have two children who have graduated from Mount Ida High School and three who will remain for many more years.
Furthermore, I deeply care what decisions are being made on behalf of our school district. Also, I fully understand the importance of each decision and how it will affect our students, parents, faculty, and community.
I currently work for the Story Post Office and have been there for three years. Also, I work at the Mount Ida Post Office on occasion.
My family and I attend Community Outreach Ministries in Mount Ida. I spent a lot of time in prayer before I made the decision to run for this position. I would love to have the opportunity to serve and be a voice for the community that I have lived in for so many years. Your support and vote for Position #3 would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you and God bless,
Shelly Mayberry
