ARDOT approves bids for Oden street projects

Driving the streets of Oden will be a lot smoother in a few months thanks to road improvements announced by the Arkansas Department of Transportaion (ARDOT) this week.

According to a statement released Thursday (January 28) ARDOT has approved a bid for improvements to various city streets in Oden. The project will resurface approximately 1.6 miles of various city streets in Oden.

Streets listed for improvement include: Lynda Lane, Rodney Lane, Hilltop Lane and River Drive. Lynda Lane, Rodney Lane and Hilltop Lane are located West of Oden School Campus just off Highway 88. River Drive is located South of the Oden Post Office just off Highway 379.

Cranford Construction Company of North Little Rock was awarded the contract valued at $267,957.50.

Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting with completion expected in mid-2021.
