The Arkansas Department of Health confirmed today, April 29, that a positive case of COVID-19 has been reported in Montgomery County.
Jeremy Courtney with the Arkansas Department of Health confirmed today that a single case of COVID-19 involving a Montgomery County Resident has been reported. Courtney stated that this was separate from the case reported positive and then rescinded last week.He was unable to provide any other details.
Jerry Elizandro, Montgomery County ADEM Coordinator, confirmed that the positive test involved someone living in the Norman area.
No other information was available at this time.
Montgomery County has 71 negative tests reported and was the 73 county in Arkansas to report a positive case of COVID-19.
As of 1:21 p.m., April 29, there were 3,137 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Arkansas.
