Active COVID cases counts near teens in Montgomery County

Active case numbers continue to drop in Montgomery County and surrounding counties as the active case count in the state drops to 11,505.

This is a decrease of 3,499 cases compared to last Tuesday morning. This is a 23 percent drop in cases compared to one week ago. Arkansas is reporting 493,120 cumulative cases with 7,668 new cases reported in the past seven days. There have been 473,855 recoveries and 7,630 COVID related deaths reported.

The 25-34 year old age group is still the largest demographic with 1,651 active cases. Persons age 35-44 are second with 1,627. The 65 and older age group is third with 1,583.

Montgomery County is reporting 23 active cases Tuesday morning with 14 new cases reported in the past seven days. There have been 1,101 cumulative cases, 1,039 recoveries and 39 deaths.

Garland County is reporting 266 active cases with 183 new cases in the past seven days. They have had 15,539 cumulative cases, 14,903 recoveries and 368 deaths.

Scott County is reporting 102 active cases and 69 new cases in the past seven days. They have had 1,644 cumulative cases, 1,518 recoveries and 24 deaths.

Yell County is reporting 100 active cases and 63 new cases in the past seven days. They have had 4,485 cumulative cases, 4,308 recoveries and 76 deaths.

Hot Spring County is reporting 90 active cases and 55 new cases in the past seven days. They have had 7,361 cumulative cases, 7,165 recoveries and 104 deaths.

Clark County is reporting 78 active cases and 45 new cases in the past seven days. They have had 3,091 cumulative cases, 2,960 recoveries and 51 deaths reported.

Polk County is reporting 64 active cases with 32 new cases in the past seven days. They have had 2,845 cumulative cases, 2,682 recoveries and 98 deaths.

Howard County is reporting 40 active cases with 27 new cases in the past seven days. They have had 2,303 cumulative cases, 2,233 recoveries and 30 deaths.

Pike County is reporting 37 new cases with 20 new cases in the past seven days. They have had 1,633 cumulative cases, 1,562 recoveries and 34 deaths.
