Active COVID-19 cases return to double digits in Montgomery County

Montgomery County has not been immune to the recent upward trend in active COVID-19 cases. Countywide there are 11 active cases being reported as of Tuesday morning, almost double last week’s total.

There were six new cases reported since last week for a total of 778 cumulative cases. There have been 734 recoveries and the total of COVID-19 related deaths remains at 33.

Garland County is reporting 371 active cases and 257 new cases since last Tuesday. They have 11,174 cumulative cases, 10,534 recoveries and 268 deaths.

Hot Spring County is reporting an increase in active cases after showing a decrease last week. They have 167 active cases and 116 new cases since last Tuesday. They have 5626 cumulative cases, 5,380 recoveries and 78 virus related deaths.

Clark County is reporting 89 active cases, an increase of 16 since last Tuesday. They have had 157 new cases in the past week. They have reported 2,333 cumulative cases, 2,203 recoveries and 40 deaths.

Yell County reported a big jump in cases this week with 41 active cases. They reported 15 active cases last Tuesday. Currently they have had 3,518 cumulative cases, 37 new cases, 3,410 recoveries and 66 COVID-19 related deaths.

Scott County is reporting 37 active cases, and 19 new cases. They have had 1,040 cumulative cases, 989 recoveries and 14 deaths.

Pike County is reporting 23 active cases, an increase of five over last Tuesday. They have had 18 new cases in that time period. There have been 1,080 cumulative cases, 1,034 recoveries and 23 deaths.

Howard County is reporting 21 active cases, an increase of 10 since last Tuesday. They have had 16 new cases since last Tuesday. They have 1,717 cumulative cases, 1,671 recoveries and 25 deaths.

Polk County is reporting 20 active cases and 15 new cases. They have 2,071 cumulative cases, 1,976 recoveries and 74 deaths.
